Studio Emily B. Yang
Meet Emily Yang, Parsons Faculty
Emily Yang is an Asian-American artist and speculative designer. In her printmaking work, she explores the question: “What is Asian American Art?” What makes art “Asian,” “American,” or both? Who cares? And who decides? Her work references contemporary attitudes and aesthetics while employing traditional methods of making and creating. She teaches in the Strategic Design and Management (BBA) program and is a recent graduate from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University.
